Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

The Detcord network exists to detect, investigate, and disrupt financial crime perpetrated by autonomous systems and agentic threats. This policy defines what constitutes acceptable use of the service and the conduct we require of every participant.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the service only to advance the detection and disruption of agentic financial threats, including fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing. Use of the service must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and your organization's obligations.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the service for any purpose other than the detection, investigation, and disruption of agentic financial crime;
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerabilities of the platform beyond your authorized access;
• Misuse signal data, including re-identifying individuals except where necessary for a lawful investigation;
• Share access credentials or permit unauthorized persons to use the service;
• Use the service to harass, discriminate against, or profile individuals on prohibited bases;
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or any other security control.

4. Responsible Use of Signal Data

Signal data is shared across institutions on a need-to-know basis. You agree to:

• Use signal data solely for its intended operational purpose;
• Protect signal data with controls at least as strong as those applied to your own sensitive data;
• Not exfiltrate, duplicate, or retain signal data beyond what is necessary and lawful.

5. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of this policy. Where conduct raises potential criminal concerns, we may report it to the relevant authorities. We may also quarantine or redact signal data that we reasonably believe was obtained or used improperly.

6. Reporting Abuse

Suspected violations of this policy should be reported to support@detcord.ai. We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the service and the threat landscape evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
