Why we exist

The agentic threat needs a different kind of company. So we're building it.

When we founded Detcord in August 2026, we were watching the collision in real time. Agentic commerce was finding its footing, and autonomous agents were breaking out of sandboxes and attacking live targets.

The threat used to be a person.

Sometimes a team, sometimes a network. But human imagination was the engine. And that imagination found the gaps. It found the seams between institutions.

And it worked.

More than two trillion dollars are lost to global financial crime, every single year. That's a bad number. But it's a number that was always bound by human speed. Humans in the lead.

But today, the emerging threat is an unrelenting wave of autonomous agents, coordinating with each other and against institutions at machine speed and cloud scale.

No single institution can see the entire picture. But even if they could, we can't fight machine speed with human speed.

AI co-pilots are not enough. When our adversaries are agent-in-the-lead and human-out-of-the-loop, the human can no longer be the primary defender.

Humans must become the judges. Judges powered by imagination, ingenuity, context, and critically: humanity itself.

We’re building the intelligence network to make agentic adversaries visible, and to give humanity the chance to fight, win, and build a safe, stable future.

Our mission and vision

Somewhere in the fight against financial crime is a person who chose this work. They show up every day because they believe it can be stopped. The system holds because of them.

Our mission is to enable human beings to confront the world’s emerging technology threats, and we're building a future where the global financial system is safe from autonomous adversaries.

Core Values

The guiding principles that shape every decision we make.

Be a protector.

Protectors confront the threat, whatever form it takes. Bad actors, bad actions, bad consequences, or bad luck.

Think like a criminal.

Criminals find the cracks in every system. We look for the same cracks, and the ones they haven't found yet. We get there first.

Pursue excellence.

Excellence in craft can be difficult to define, but you know it when you see it. It usually shows up either everywhere or nowhere.

Be a servant leader.

Everyone leads. It isn't a role, it's a service. Help the people around you become greater than they were. We win together.
